Det Jødiske Samfund søger en kok til køkkenet i forsamlingshuset i Krystalgade i indre København fra den 1. april 2025. Vi søger en person, der har lyst til at være en del af fællesskabet i huset, og som har lyst til at hjælpe familier og foreninger med at gøre deres fester og arrangementer til en succes gennem god mad.
Muligheder:
- Kokken vil være hovedansvarlig for levering af mad til alle de aktiviteter, der foregår i huset, hvilket inkluderer fester næsten hver weekend, samt de daglige arrangementer;
- Kokken har mulighed for at afholde restaurant og cafe-arrangementer;
- Kokken får rådighed over et kosher køkken (kød) til andre formål, herunder kosher catering til private, til turister og andre ad hoc formål;
- Kokken får mulighed for at servere og tilbyde mad til den årlige Kulturfestival sammen med andre kokke.
Forudsætninger:
- Ansvarlig for drift af køkkenet. Forpagteren vil være ansvarlig for driften af køkkenet, herunder at køkkenet overholder alle regler i henhold til myndighederne (Fødevarestyrelsen).
- Kosherkøkken. De gældende kosher regler skal overholdes (kødkøkken).
- Erfaring. Dokumenteret erfaring fra restaurant, hotel eller kantine.
- PET-godkendelse. Aftalen forudsætter sikkerhedsgodkendelse hos PET

Det Jødiske Samfund i Danmark er rammen om et fællesskab for alle jøder i Danmark. Vi har omkring 1600 medlemmer, og forsamlingshuset i Krystalgade er fuldt af daglige kulturelle, sociale og religiøse arrangementer, undervisning, fester og møder for vores foreninger og medlemmer. Chef/cook for the Kitchen at the Jewish Community
The Jewish Community is looking for a chef/cook for the kitchen in the community center on Krystalgade in central Copenhagen, starting from April 1, 2025. We are seeking someone who wants to be part of the community in the house and who is eager to help families and associations make their celebrations and events successful through great food.
Opportunities:
- The chef will be primarily responsible for providing food for all activities in the house, including parties many weekends, as well as daily events.
- The chef can host restaurant and café events.
- The chef will have access to a kosher kitchen (meat) for other purposes, including kosher catering for private events, tourists, and other ad hoc needs.
- The chef will have the opportunity to serve and offer food at the annual Jewish Cultural Festival together with other chefs.
Requirements:
- Responsible for kitchen operations: The chef will be responsible for managing the kitchen, ensuring compliance with all regulations set by the authorities (Danish Veterinary and Food Administration).
- Kosher kitchen: The applicable kosher rules must be followed (meat kitchen).
- Experience: Documented experience from a restaurant, hotel, or cafeteria.
- Security clearance: The agreement requires security clearance from the Danish Security and Intelligence Service (PET).
About the House and the Jewish Community
The Jewish Community in Denmark serves as a gathering place for all Jews in Denmark. We have around 1,600 members, and the community center in Krystalgade hosts daily cultural, social, and religious events, education, celebrations, and meetings for our associations and members. An active secretariat as well as the security team will be your daily colleagues.
